+well, the only way to share it through the web is as a digital file. The point is (partly) if the digital file accurately portrays the traditional piece or if it alters it significantly. Another point in discussion deals specifically with a puristic approach of what should be allowed as Traditional Art in deviantART vs/ the current, broader view that leaves the issue to the discretion of the artist (see the current definition in the journal) when digital means have been used to enhance the traditional piece.
